Clinical Leadership
Science without losing the human being
Modern medicine is exceptionally good at measuring risk, diagnosing disease and treating illness. But good health is more than a laboratory result. Healing Valley should connect clinical data with how a person sleeps, moves, eats, thinks, relates to others and lives day to day.
Â
The aim is not to medicalise every aspect of life. It is to use science where science is useful, to measure what matters, and to preserve the parts of wellbeing that cannot be reduced to a biomarker.
Tradition with discernment
Bhutan has its own traditions of medicine, contemplation and wellbeing. Healing Valley should approach these with respect rather than either dismissing them or making claims that go beyond evidence. Traditional approaches can be experienced, studied and, where appropriate, integrated alongside modern care with clear clinical governance and informed choice.

Arden Endocrinology Specialist Clinic
Arden is a specialist endocrine and metabolic practice based at Mount Elizabeth Novena in Singapore. Its work spans diabetes, obesity and weight management, thyroid disease, osteoporosis and wider endocrine and metabolic health, with an emphasis on evidence-based assessment, prevention and long-term care.
Â
Within the Healing Valley vision, Arden provides a bridge to contemporary specialist medicine, clinical governance, measurable outcomes and international healthcare collaboration. Over time, the health programme can expand through partnerships with other medical disciplines, allied health professionals, traditional practitioners, researchers and institutions.

Dr Ben Ng
Dr Ben Ng is a Senior Consultant Endocrinologist and Co-Founder of Healing Valley. He trained in the United Kingdom and holds dual specialist accreditation in Diabetes & Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine. His clinical interests include diabetes, obesity, insulin resistance, thyroid disease and broader metabolic health, with a particular interest in prevention, healthy ageing and translating complex science into practical care.
Â
At Healing Valley, Dr Ng is helping shape the Health & Longevity pillar, its approach to evidence, clinical governance, programme design and future international collaborations.
