Healing Valley should be experienced through journeys rather than sold as a collection of disconnected activities. The first three durations give the web team something tangible to present now and can later evolve into bookable programmes, seasonal retreats or personalised itineraries.
4 DAYS
A first encounter with Healing Valley for visitors who want to understand the place through a concentrated blend of reflection, culture, nature and wellbeing.
-
Arrival, orientation and a gentle introduction to the Valley.
-
Medicine Buddha sanctuary and guided reflection.
-
Introduction to Bhutanese philosophy, culture and the wider Healing Valley story.
-
Nature, movement and time outdoors.
-
A health or wellbeing session, depending on programme format.
-
An arts, food or craft experience.
-
Enough unstructured time to notice the place rather than rush through it.
7 DAYS
A fuller week for people who want to step out of routine and give real attention to how they are living. It can combine a more complete health and wellbeing assessment with mindfulness, movement, sleep, nutrition, cultural experiences, nature, learning and recovery time.
Â
The key idea is balance: enough structure to create a journey, enough space for the visitor to actually slow down.
14 DAYS
A deeper programme for visitors who want sustained immersion. The 14-day journey can integrate health and longevity, contemplative practice, learning, cultural participation, nature and Living Bhutan experiences, with enough time to establish habits and reflect on what will continue after departure.
Â
It should feel less like a longer holiday package and more like a purposeful residency - a period in which the visitor can understand their health, experience another rhythm of life and return home with something that lasts.
