Research & Collaboration

Where ideas meet evidence.

Healing Valley aims to become a platform for meaningful research and collaboration across health, wellbeing, human development, culture, traditional knowledge and regenerative living.

The goal is not to create research for its own sake. It is to ask useful questions, bring different forms of knowledge into respectful dialogue and create work that can improve how people live - in Bhutan and beyond.

Areas of Interest

  • Healthy ageing, metabolic health and prevention.

  • Physical and functional reserve, muscle health and mobility.

  • Sleep, recovery and stress.

  • Mindfulness, psychology and human wellbeing.

  • Traditional medicine and evidence.

  • Human behaviour and sustainable lifestyle change.

  • Bhutanese philosophy, Gross National Happiness and human development.
